It was Spence’s seventh goal of the season and his first NCAA game winning goal. It was part of a 1-0-1 three shots with a +1 night for the Rangers 2025 second round pick.

Spence improves t0 7-5-12 on the season. It is the first time Michigan has shut out their in-state rivals on their home ice since 1/7/2000.

As for Sean Barnhill, he was credited with one shot with a -1 for the game. Same two teams tomorrow night only they will switch arenas.

It wiil be the last game for both teams before their holiday break.

Nathan Aspinall (Flint Firebirds)

The OHL’s player of the month (November) Nathan Aspinall continued his hot play with a two assist night for his Flint Firebirds. Aspinall earned the game’s third star as Flint knocked off the Kingston Frontenacs 4-2.

Two second period assists extended Aspinall’s current scoring streak to ten games (9-12-21). Those two points improved Aspinall’s season totals to 17-24-41.

That jumped Aspinall into second place in OHL scoring (ninth in goals, sixth in assists).

Rasmus Larsson did not play for Robert Morris on Friday night. Larsson has only played in five of the team’s 15 games this season.

It is very hard to consider him as a legit prospect at this point in his career.
